I like to think of myself as a flower interpreter, rather than just a designer. Flower’s have their own language, I am here to translate their story.
Born and raised in Sun Valley, ID. My passion has always been in design and creating a space for people that feels welcoming and beautiful. I got my degree in Visual Communications from FIDM in San Francisco, CA. From there I worked as a visual designer at West Elm, set designer for theater and music, owned my own Fair Trade traveling boutique, and eventually began my journey in the floral industry. I have over 10+ years of experience and started Floret in 2019.
I have always had a passion for florals, growing up in a small town in the mountains, I feel most at home among the wildflowers. I am always striving to be the most sustainable I can be in the floral industry, meaning:
+ Sourcing from Local Farms
+ Foraging sustainably when available
+ Minimal Floral Foam
+ Paying our employees a proper wage
+ Reuse, Reduce and Recycle in all aspects
You will often find me deep in the mountains exploring alpine lakes, visiting family in Amsterdam, or covered in dust at Burning Man.
Reality TV, Trader Joe’s Peanut Butter Cups, a Good Martini and anything leopard print.
Always so hard to narrow down, but Ranunculus will always be my favorite gal
I find so much inspiration from artists in other mediums. One of my favorites is our dear friend Maggie Shafran Art.
Mini Burros + Ponies
No lie, I will cry when I see one. This here is my friend Leroy!
My amazing partner, Justin and our crazy wolf pack - Enzo, Willow + Doodles
Floret clients love to seek beauty in the extraordinary and comfort in classic elegance.
They love color, texture and of course…flowers!
